I want you to do either, whichever one you do, read over it before you try it:
If you have a difficult, painful, fearful or traumatic event that can still affect you, even a little Therapeutic journaling, especially if it is related to dating, past relationships or something that affects your capacity to love your mother or father. And if you have nothing in that band, do the Fear Inventory.
The second Practice is to be more social. Make more conversation. With no attachment to the outcome. You aren't trying to get numbers or pick anyone up, just to share the joy of an interaction. Speak to men and women.
